A platform connecting CSAs (Community Supported Agriculture) with members and prospects through real-time transparency, fostering trust and accessibility

status quo

The concept of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) involves members receiving regular deliveries of fresh fruits and vegetables directly from the farm in exchange for a contribution. The benefits of CSA are numerous, and the concept is inherently sustainable, yet it faces three key challenges: accessibility (both physical and psychological), inclusivity and transparency. (I collaborated with CSA farmers and conducted a survey to analyze the advantages and issues.) To receive products, members often need to travel to the farm themselves, which is frequently far from public transportation. This poses a challenge for people with physical limitations, elderly individuals, or those with busy schedules. Additionally, finding accurate pricing and system information online is difficult, which can lead to miscommunication and higher barriers to entry.

As explorers (who are interested in this concept), they can view various interactive content, allowing them to directly experience the CSA concept and get to know the farms better.

Farm of the Month – This gives farms the opportunity to present themselves each month and allows explorers and members to get to know a variety of farms better.

Seeds System – is a reward system. When farms face a labor shortage, farmers and members can take on tasks and earn Seeds. These Seeds can be used for the benefit of the farms or gifted to explorers as Moim subscription vouchers.

The core feature is a transportation and pickup system designed with accessibility in mind. To support people who are unable to visit farms or pickup stations, a mobility service is provided to reduce the burden. When placing an order, users can select transport and support options. Moim caregivers will assist members in getting to the farm or pickup points.
