Online clothing shopping makes it difficult for consumers to find well-fitting clothes due to inconsistent sizing standards across different brands. The trend of oversized fashion and "one size" options fails to accommodate diverse body types, leading to frustration and exclusion for many people. This flawed system results in high return rates, wasting time and resources for both customers and retailers. Furthermore, the environmental damage caused by discarded clothing is immense, leading to pollution and resource depletion. Companies must urgently improve their sizing policies by prioritizing consumer needs and sustainability. It is time for the fashion industry to embrace inclusivity and responsibility by respecting all body types and protecting the planet.

goals

The limited size system does not satisfy consumers and consequently increases clothing waste, which is the main cause of environmental destruction. Therefore, the saying "less is more" is meaningless. Less is too little due to the size system. The purpose of this project is to transform a size system that ignores diversity and universality. The goal of this project is to highlight and improve the problems of the limited size system and the various side effects that arise from it. It is also an important point to design a user-friendly and functionalist design language.

This system aims to ensure that clothing matches each person's body type and desired style. People define themselves on the online platform and specify the style they want, so production is driven by "demand" rather than "excess." It will offer sizes for all body types, catering to everyone, and result in higher customer satisfaction. It also provides an environmentally friendly solution to the problems caused by mass production in the fashion industry.

On the homepage, users can shop for clothing from current brands through brand categories. Here, users can either place a direct order or create clothing for their own brand that matches style and size.

The main screen is divided into five categories based on the dock bar at the bottom. There is a homepage, a screen for saved designs, a creation screen, a community screen, and a profile screen.

When the user clicks on the profile screen, which is the last screen in the bottom dock bar, the user can create and customize their own profile. The user can use the body scanner integrated into the app or directly input and edit their body data.

When the user selects a clothing category on the creation screen, the user can design clothing according to their own size and taste. The user can add various graphics, adjust the length, and customize the fit and neckline as desired. In the final step, the user can review a simulation and place an order.
